Our Story

Homezone Renovation was originally founded by the oldest sons of Plata General Build, family company. Martin Plata is a qualified Construction Engineer and has over 16 years’ experience in building and renovations around Europe.

.His great product knowledge, creativity and passion in building sector helped him complete hundreds quality internal and external residential & commercial projects including schools and hotels around Europe. He settled in Dublin since 2004 mainly working as a project subcontractor for wellknown irish home improvement companies. He continued his profession by training new skilled men around Ireland to serve larger amount of subcontracting projects. Since 2016 Homezone Renovation has became an independent company expanding their local services in counties Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Meath. At the moment they employ eighteen highly skilled and qualified workmen. They mainly concentrate on residential installations as also they continue to expand commercial services.

  I had the pleasure recently of having Homezone renovating my back garden.   I just can’t speak highly enough about Martin and his team.   From the day he first called out to have a look at what I wanted (and I stress what I wanted), to the day they finished up (last Tuesday 13/06/2023) I knew I was on to a winner.    Because of a narrow side entrance, all equipment and materials had to come through my house.  This wasn’t a problem for the work team – they laid down protective coverings right through the house on the first day, and I can honestly say there wasn’t a mark on anything after they left. There were several lads in and out over the period of the few days, and I found every one of them to be pleasant and friendly, and above all professional and mannerly. The project was completed on time, and I am absolutely beyond thrilled with the result. I highly recommend Homezone to anyone who is considering having their garden renovated.  The speed with which the job was carried out, and the quality and finish were 100%.  All I have to do now is get cracking on planting some new flowers and climbers – thanks Martin and team for a fabulous job!

Well planning for the whole project with detailed mind thinking and customer's point of view.  They started to work only 2 weeks after confirming everything and finished the whole project with 3 weeks for the front and rear garden.

Well communicated with particulars, procedures, and details.  The told us what they will do before and finished the work everyday! Excellent quality on materials used and professional suggestions on every decision we have to make.

  Landscaping works recently carried out at my home were completed on time and within budget . I found Martin and his crew to be very professional and obliging during the construction phase and took several small suggestions on board from the client with no fuss or bother.
